Thirty-eight groves, one packhouse: how the oranges get graded.
From September the groves around Annotto Bay and Gayle start coming in, and the packhouse runs three days a week. Every crate is weighed against the member's name, then graded by size and skin.
The bag of 10, the bag of 25 and the crate of 100 all come from the same grading, so the stock you see online is what is on the packhouse floor.
